
The officers of the National Fireworks Association are elected to a two year term at it's fall membership meeting held in conjunction with the annual Expo. Elections are held during the even numbered years.
Any full member or a representative of a full member company is eligible to hold office. Board members serve without pay.
President - Joe Bartolotta Joe was born and raised in the fireworks industry and learned most of what he know about fireworks from his father, who was a master pyrotechnician. He is also a member of the APA and the WPA. He currently is the president of Fireworks & Stage FX America, Inc., from Lakeside, CA.. He is dedicated to promoting the safe and legal use of fireworks and allowing people to enjoy fireworks. He is also very passionate about representing the members of the NFA and working with the Board of Directors to make the NFA the best association it can be for all. |

Vice President - Bob Blake Elected in 1996, Bob Blake brings a wealth of experience in the consumer fireworks business to the Board. He is the President of North-East Fireworks in Tioga, PA. Bob is an outspoken advocate of consumer liberties and rights. |

Secretary - Nancy Blogin Nancy Blogin assumed the office of secretary in 1998. Nancy and her husband John have been involved in the fireworks industry for many years. She is well organized and brings insight into problems the consumer fireworks industry has. Nancy and John also make an annual trip to China to keep up on the manufacturers over there, while in her spare time she is also a member of the following associations: PI, PGI and the Kansas Pyrotechnic Association. |

| Treasurer - Dan Promen Dan has lived his entire life in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. He has been active in the Retail Consumer Fireworks business since 1993. Along with
being a member at large on the NFA Board he is also a past President
and Secretary/ Treasurer of the Wisconsin Pyrotechnic Arts Guild.
He currently serves as Parliamentarian for the PGI.
Dan is a member
of the Wisconsin Pyros, Bluegrass Pyros, PGI, WPA, and NFA. |

Emeritus - Cam Starr Cam Starr felt that America needed an organization to stand up for fireworks consumers and enthusiasts. The organization would keep dues small and focus on regulatory issues to protect the rights of fireworks advocates everywhere. True to his original vision, one can join the NFA for as little as $30. Cam Starr is also a member of PI, PGI, WPA. |

NFA Safety Commitee - Mike Romano Mike is a self employed electrical contractor and has been for 30 years. He has wired up stores and warehouses for Northeast Fireworks; Fireworks Productions; and Kellner’s Fireworks. Mike began shooting fireworks at the age of 13. He has shot shows for Zambelli, Legion, Fireworks Productions and Grucci Fireworks to name a few. Mike has helped the past 2 years to shoot the New Years Eve Show for Grucci in Las Vegas. Mike has his N.Y. S. “Own and Possess” license and BATF high explosives license. He is a member of NFA, PGI, WPA, PPA. Mike owns along with John Sagaria 2 type IV and 1 type II magazines on his property. He has been active for the last 10 years helping to set up and shoot the fireworks at Kellner’s Fireworks demo each spring. Mike is a member of the National Fireworks Association’s safety committee and has served in this capacity for the past 4 years. |
